This delightful scent has an unusual, very unique note that catches and holds on to your attention from application through dry down. Call it a sasparilla or root beer-like accord, but to me it's an overall synthesis that produces an absolutely lovely melody. Basically gourmand, but not edible or foodie, it's well tempered by dark florals. A truly hypnotic fragrance that stays true to the original.

I'm very picky when it comes to scents, but I really enjoyed this one. I dislike the traditional overly powdery, musky, flowery or earthy scents that scream "I'm wearing perfume" but I absolutely love this scent. I'm not very experienced with perfumes, so I'm not entirely certain how best to describe it, but it's very smooth and a bit almondy. It makes a good nighttime and fall-to-winter scent. It's warm and calming without any sharp or overly prominent notes.
I prefer single-note scents such as 'vanilla' or 'black coconut' and so far this is the only blended scent I have really adored. I ordered a sample pack with several scents including Himalaya, Black Coconut, Pink Sugar, and Lime Verbena and both my boyfriend and I agreed that this scent was the best one in the pack with 'Black Coconut' as a close second.

I am not well-versed enough to write about individual notes, but I can say that is a very nice fall/winter scent. It's spot-on for the original, as well. It's a soft, warm scent .. I think it has notes of almond in it. If you're tired of the multitude of vanilla scents out there, but like a nice sweet, warm scent, this may be what you're looking for.
