Floral-Aldehydic
Floral: Florals can either be single notes of a particular flower such as jasmine, tubersoe, rose, and gardenia, or a variety of flowers combined into a floral compound. It is a classic, romantic note used in most women's fragrances.
Aldehydic: Aldehydes are organic compounds that are present in many natural sources, including roses, that can be created artificially. The most widely used synthetic aldehydes are an herbaceous green aroma, orange and orange peel-like, rose scent, clean leafy greens, lemon and grapefruit scent, the scent of violet or lilac, and the scent of peach skin. Chanel No. 5 was the first to use the synthetic component, giving this iconic fragrance its sparkle.
