Samsara is a Sanskrit word signifying "the Cycle of Birth and Rebirth", and is the path to Nirvana. It was released in 1989 by the House of Guerlain and is a Sensual, Woody, Sophisticated Oriental fragrance that is suitable for Romantic or Elegant Evenings.

Top Notes: Green Notes, Bergamot, Lemon, Peach, and Ylang Ylang.

Middle Notes:
Tarragon, Jasmine, Rose, Narcissus, Orris, Carnation, and Violet.

Base Notes:
Sandal, Benzoin, Tonka, Iris, Amber.

Day after day, customers tell us our versions smell better than the originals. Perhaps the lack of alcohol and, in many cases, higher quality oils than those found in the "original" makes the difference. Ounce for ounce, our perfume bottles contain fifteen to twenty times as much pure perfume oil as the typical Eau de Toilette, but choosing pure fragrance oils is not so much a question of saving money, as it is of getting your money's worth.

Usage:
A drop or two at most should be all you need. Unlike conventional perfumes, our oils are alcohol and filler free, so it may take a minute or two for the slowly warming scent to emit its full bouquet. The fragrance will be smoother and better balanced than any alcohol-driven aroma and well worth the wait.

Our fragrance oils last most people six to twenty-four hours, depending upon skin type, evaporating naturally during the course of the day. Our pure perfume oils also last longer in the bottle - commercial perfumes with fillers spoil, sometimes in as little as twelve months, but pure perfume oils retain their fragrance year after year. Excellent fragrance reproduction!
I discovered Samsara over 20 years ago in college and have always considered this my all-time favorite. I was very excited to try TFS's version and was surprised I couldn't tell the difference between the Guerlain original and TFS's! I purchased the spray oil and body spritz and smell heavenly all day! Thank you!

A classic, sophisticated fragrance that lifts your spirits.
My mother always told me that Samsara was "too old" for me. It could not be further from the truth! No, it's not fruity or flowerly, but the fragrance has floral and citrus tones and is suble, soft and understated.

I am pleasantly surprised!!
The Samsara type oil smell soooo wonderful!! It smells just like my spray, only lasts much longer! I would recommend this oil to those that love Samsara!! This fragrance lasts a long time and I get compliments from other people asking me what fragrance I am wearing. I will now tell them where they can get the oil!!
I am sooo glad I took the chance and ordered from the Fragrance Shop!!

Better than the original
I Love this fragrance! I had purchased the original and was amazed how the fragrance from the fragrance shop is better! From now on this is where I will be purchasing any future fragrances as I cannot just wear the same fragrance day after day....I have to follow my mood so I need to have a nice collection. Smelling nice makes me feel good and I receive alot of compliments from my husband who says that I am his aromatherapy after a long day at work.

Samsara
This one of the best fragrances out there and it lasts so long. I always get compliments and am always asked where one can buy it. I, of course, refer them to here and they are glad I did.
