I ordered the lotion because you literally cannot find it anywhere.. my Mother bought this for me in the 80’s.. She passed in 91 and I still where this scent.. it reminds me of my Mother. I also want to mention that the shipping was crazy fast.. thank you soo much for making this duplicate.. I will continue to buy the scent from another company, but I will definitely be ordering your lotions..

This is a great dupe for Estee Lauder Private Collection. Estee Lauder Private Collection is hard to find these days. If you cannot find it, then I recommend this one from The Fragrance Shop.

It has been called a green floral. It has been called a green chypre. It has been called a floral chypre. I will call it a green marvel, as marvelous as once upon a time was the lamented "Vent Vert." This is an immensely elegant fragrance, with a smiling elegance, and a cheerful nonchalance. Utterly chic.

Ordered a sample of this some time ago. Smelled it again recently, it had in the meantime morphed into some inexpressively rich, regal smell. I fell in love instantly. I am afraid of the real brand-name stuff- it often blows people's sinuses out. But never this..

I had a very special relationship back in the early 80's: you know, the type of man who just sweeps you away, gives you lovely lingerie, the best restaurants. He gave me the Private Collection body powder, which had lovely sparkly stuff that stayed on your skin and looked beautiful. Well, I just fell in love with it and him. The relationship didn't stay, but I still loved the scent. It was so nice to find it here!
