I have been wearing Opium for years. It was recently reformulated and, following the advice of a friend, I bought the version of "The Fragrance Shop." It couldn't be better: it smell ust like the original which I love.

I have been using Opium for years, and was very disappointed by the recent reformulation. A friend recommended me "The Fragrance Shop", and I followed her advice. I am delighted with your Opium type. It is very faithful to the original, and long lasting. From now on "The Fragrance Shop" will be the source of my dear Opium.

I know Opium very well, having worn it for years. I became quite unhappy with its recent reformulation, and a friend told me to come to The Fragrance Shop and try its oil, since she is so happy with several of its "types." I came, I bought, and The Fragrance Shop triumphed, This is truly excellent. Even my veteran Opium nose is unable to distinguish the original from this oil. Thank you, Fragrance Shop. I am delighted.

I wear and know Opium very well, and I am quite unhappy with the reformulation. A friend recommended The Fragrance Shop; following her advice, I bought the oil. I am perfectly happy with this version: it smells like the original perfume, perhaps a bit mellower. Now I am quite ready to try The Fragrance Shop's "types' of several classics in the assurance that I will be able to return to the well loved fragrances of yesterday.

This version of opium is truly better than the original. Imagine the original being a square...with clear borders where the top, middle and end notes turn. Although beautiful, it is sharp, with an intense opening and heady all the way. Now imagine the oil as rounded, with each note melting seemlesly into another. Beautifuly full bodied, strong but never sharp. Alluring and perfectly composed. My husband says the original edp. pales in comparison, and I agree! Thank you for a fabulous perfume and the the most incredble customer service!!!!!!!!!!!! anywhere!!!!!
