I'm so glad I ordered the opium type here. I was going to buy the eau de perfume, but after trying this one I don't I will anymore. Thanks TFS!

When I was young, my mother wore this perfume oil and I really liked it.
I was curious to see if TFS could really blend something so close to the original so I ordered this as one of my sample oils in the sampler pack.
Yes, they did it! It smells just like I remember - darker and less sweet than today's incarnation of the scent. The original was so exotically sensual and this oil really captures all that. It lasts a long time, too.
Good work, TFS!

Opium is one of my favorite scents, and the Fragrance Shop is the only place I'll purchase it from. I've used alcohol-based fragrance in the past and was forced to stop. Oil-based fragrance has enabled me to continue wearing my favorite fragrances. Additionally, it lasts so much longer than alcohol-based fragrance. When I run out of Opium, I'll be picking more up from my favorite fragrance shop.

Several years ago I was vacationing in southern California and passed by The Fragrance Shop... it was a real store back then. The gentleman working there convinced me to try the opium type. It was so wonderful, we had to go back the next day so one of my friends could get his favorite scent.
I have not bought fragrance from anywhere else since!
I am loyal!
