Jimmy Choo is an empowering, feminine, and sensual scent. The seductive composition is a modern chypre fruity, with green top notes, tiger orchid, sweet toffee, and Indonesian Patchouli.
Fragrance Notes unfold over time, with the immediate impression of the top note leading to the deeper middle notes, and the base notes gradually appearing as the final stage.

I received a sample of this with an order I placed and I cannot speak to the accuracy of the reformulation, as I have never sampled the original.
However, I will say that this is a light, fresh and sweet fragrance. The green notes are definitely present to give the freshness and the tiger orchid lends the sweetness. The scent is not overpowering and neither the sweetness nor the green notes win out over the other. It's pretty like a warm spring day after it rained last night.
I give it only 4 stars because although it is lovely, it is sort of boring. It's safe for the office or any environment where you don't want to offend anyone else. But it is not a head turner and it lacks the sort of bold uniqueness that I have found in other, equally nonoffensive fresh scents like the 0394/No.5 type and the V Absolu type. Maybe I just prefer muskier scents.
The green notes I really do like and I would say that they are the redeeming quality of the scent. If you want to smell like a garden fairy princess who just ran through a meadow in the Swiss Alps like Maria, then this is for you ;)
It's a very pretty fragrance and I would recommend at least giving it a try. I don't like it enough to buy a bottle of pure oil but perhaps I'll get it in the body spray form.

Although the Jimmy Choo type smells divine, it just doesn't match the authentic Jimmy Choo. I have the Authentic Jimmy Choo which I bought the same day I received my sample of Jimmy Choo Type. I have on one wrist the Jimmy Choo type and on the other wrist my Authentic Jimmy Choo. The Jimmy Choo type is lacking that crisp smell that the Authentic Jimmy Choo smell has. But again, the Jimmy Choo type smells lovely, it just doesn't smell like the authentic Jimmy Choo. I just might try the body cream and shower gel.
