I bought two bottles of Noa when I was in Paris in 2003, one for myself and another one for my mom. At the time I was in college and it became one of my signature scents due to its subdued quality and clean smell. Fast-forward a few years later and my bottle had gone completely rancid, even the liquid had changed color. I then appropriated my mom's bottle, since she never used it, and within a couple of years the same thing happened to it. As much as I love NOA, I resolved to not waste any more money on this perfume as it seemed to deteriorate much faster than any other fragrance (I store my bottles in the dark and rotate them out by season). Recently, I came accross The Fragrance Shop and decided to get a sample of NOA (along with several others). I am completely blown away! it smells exectly like a brand new bottle of NOA, but the lasting power is way better. The real deal wears off in 3 hours, whereas this oil rendition lasts all day, and then some. I will also mention that all of my other samples with the exception of 1 (1 out of 10) smell exactly like the original. I own full sized bottles of everything I tried except for Noa.

I have the world's worst chemistry. Pretty much everything at the perfume counter hates me and lets me know with nose-crinkling proof within 10 minutes of trying a new scent. And then I found Noa from Cacherelle. Finally, a perfume that didn't turn icky. Two years later, Cacherelle decided the US market was a bust and they stopped selling it here. I was SO bummed, and had to rely on incoming visitors from other countries to keep me stocked up which was expensive and spotty on frequency and quality of product. And then I found The Fragrance Shop in a beach town in Southern California, and on a lark, I bought their version of Noa on the salesman's promise it would be just like the stuff I'd bought at Macy's years earlier. I'd found my perfume again and this time, the delivery system was better because it was an oil which lasted longer than the spray, AND the bottle was compact so I could take it with me where ever I went. When I called the shop a year later to order more, I found the shop had closed but the company still existed and I could order Noa online. I gave it a shot and sure enough, the bottle arrived and smelled exactly like the original Noa. I can't even begin to tell you how many people say "Oh, you smell so good!" after I hug them hello, EVERY time I wear it. I don't know how they do it, but The Fragrance Shop people sure know what they're doing. They have amazing customer service, they ship the product a.s.a.p. after ordering and they wrap it up beautifully so the order arrives in mint condition. Speaking of which, I love that they attach a mint Lifesaver to the invoice. Cracks me up! A great touch. Thanks a bunch!
