Calandre type for women
Launched in 1969, this feminine fragrance is very difficult to classify. A Bergamot top note follows the floral heart Notes of Rose and Hyacinth. The base is Woody, Powdery, with intense Musky Notes.
Top Notes: Leafy Greens, Aldehydes, and Bergamot.
Middle Notes:
Rose, Pelargonium, Hyacinth, Lily of the Valley, Geranium, and Jasmine.
Base Notes:
Sandalwood, Oakmoss, Musk, and Amber.

So Happy!!
Within two days I received my Calandre Type fragrance which has been discontinued. I have worn Calandre and Rive Gauche (which is still available, but entirely different from the original). I ordered both the body spray Calandre type and a sample bottle of the Rive Gauche oil. I have one bottle of Calandre, which I just opened, left. Needless to say, when the bottles arrived, I had to compare the original Calandre with the Calandre type and I found NO difference, which makes me extremly happy. So, Paco Rabbane is no longer going to have me as a life long customer (their mistake!!) because I have found the Fragrance Shoppe and I WILL BE A LIFE LONG CUSTOMER OF THIERS!! I hope that Fragrance Shoppe will be around forever and will continue to produce their top notch oils and body sprays. Also, the Rive Gauche sample oil is awesome! I compared it to the bottle I recently bought and since the original fragrance was changed in the early 2000's I have not been happy with the new formulation but the sample you sent is EXACTLY how I remember the original....thank you so much and I look forward to sending repeat orders!!!

Must have Calandre?!
I've been wearing Calandre since I was 17 years old. It is my signature scent. I recently found it had been discontinued and have been coveting my last bottle. I am happy to report that my sample from The fragrance shop smells like Calandre. I am ordering more right now. Thank you for saving me

I remember it well!
I first bought this fragrance as a bath oil in a shop under the Eiffel Tower back when I visited Paris for a weekend in the early 70's. I was so sad when I heard it was not longer being produced, but then I found this lovely site and my sample is just as I remembered. I will be ordering very soon!
