You type for men and women

I had read about Glossier You on Fragrantica and read through many reviews. I have been a long-time customer and fan of The Fragrance Shop's formulations, especially their rare, vintage/discontinued fragrance formulations. I was curious about whether The Fragrance Shop’s type was more like the original version of You or the reformulated version that has recently come out. I have not smelled the 2017 original versus the current recent reformulation, but I read many reviews on Fragrantica to get an idea for comparison, and my sense is that The Fragrance Shop’s type is more the original. I do not smell the detriments mentioned by lovers of the scent who voiced disappointment in the new version—no alcohol or plasticky notes in The Fragrance Shop’s You version. Instead I smell a lovely clean iris, the white pepper spiciness, a sexy musk of the clean white category and a certain cozy note that is comforting and warms beautifully on my skin. The scent is soft with moderate projection—this should do well for public and work situations without offending or affecting others, but yet is discernible and wafts around me gently as I sit at my desk. If you love "your skin but better" fragrances, this is well worth trying.
