White Butter

Ok, at first, I wasn't sure about this scent. I could smell it only if I put my nose against it. A few days later, wore it to a reunion and as soon as I walked through the door three women told me I smelled so good. So then, I started to reconsider. This is a definitive 'morph' scent on me. In the beginning, I smell a creamy vanilla. Throughout the day, those fine heart notes come through presenting a velvety nectar. It truly is delightful. Then, on my skin, the dry down is a base of soft powder, which I adore. It really does stay true to its name 'butter', like a smooth creamy buttery softness. I've been pairing this with Coconut Temptation the past few days and it's like 'nectar of the gods' tropical.

I have White Butter in the dry oil bottle and it's perfect that way. It truly is summer in a bottle. I like to spray my arms and legs and head out wearing a sundress. The dry oil also makes you feel like you're wearing sun oil (although no SPF, so don't forget!) It actually does remind me of old-school sun oils from Coppertone or Banana Boat...definitely not far off! Just a juicy pineapple vanilla scent. Also reminds me of a pina colada, yum!

I received my order for the White Butter, ordering solely based on the reviews and description and was pleasantly surprised! I have been looking for a casual scent that has a pineapple fragrance, and this one did it for me. It starts off loud but then dries to a light pineapple (in my opinion) fragrance. I really like it and will wear it often. I don't care for fragrances that are overbearing, so many of the scents I purchase from The Fragrance shop suit me well.

Bought the sample and immediately turned around and bought a full size. It's a gorgeous and yummy scent.

I'm looking for scents to wear this summer. And this is perfect! It's sweet, fruity, and fresh! I love that fruity pinapple smell wrapping around sweet vanilla and then mixing with that fresh lemon ! It really makes the warm hot breeze of summer smell cool and refreshing, it makes you want a pineapple snow cone !
