True Gardenia

I've ordered this perfume in the past, and have loved it. I'm not sure what's going on now, but the beautiful, very "true gardenia" opening lasts for about five minutes, and then whatever they've used in the base of this formula comes blasting through and lasts for hours - smelling not much like a gardenia or any white flower, really. The base notes in this are somewhat unpleasant, resembling the odor of rancid nuts or nut oil. It has to be reapplied frequently if I want the gardenia aspect again. I didn't get this result in the past. The opening is so beautiful and realistic. It's really a tease. It does seem to sing the gardenia tune a little longer in fabric, but one has to be careful of the dark, reddish oil. Dark fabric only.

I absolutely love the smell of fragrant flowers. I'll go for runs just to pass houses with fragrant gardens.

Gardenia is one of my favorites. This rendition is nice...it's not overpowering, and it's fairly true to the flower without other scents to muck it up.

It's a bit light for my taste... personally I prefer the jungle gardenia for lasting fragrance

Ever since I was young; I loved the smell of gardenias. It's a comforting, sensual, elegant scent that I have positive associations with. So, naturally, I was on the hunt looking for a realistic gardenia scent I could wear. I ordered samples of both designer and niche fragrances that are touted as very realistic gardenia. None fit the criteria, some of them smelt nothing like gardenia while the best examples smelt only very vaguely like gardenias, and I'm using the word vaguely very loosely here. based on that, I was very skeptical when I ordered a sample of this oil, expecting it to smell like any other tuberose concoction that's posing as gardenias. Not so with this one. I was shocked just how realistic this oil smells, it's like taking a whiff straight out of a gardenia flower in the summer. TFS did a fantastic job. Thanks a lot!

The True gardenia is very reflective of the flower and is beautifully subtle. The gardenia flower is called the welcoming flower and that is what it feels like on my skin.
I found on my skin that if used the perfume at 7 am I needed to put on another drop around 3 pm

The first time I smelled this beauty I was in shock at how natural and beautiful it smelled. It truly is like smelling gardenia in the afternoon while it blooms. But the quality that I enjoy the most is the relaxing state it gives me WOW! I wake up in the morning in the heat of summer and dab a little of it and as it blooms in my skin reminds me how beautiful life is and the simplest things are the best. Go ahead and play with it. Mix some of Lilac, Lily of the valley and True Gardenia, you welcome!!
