    YSL masterpiece, Paris, was created by Sophia Grojsman some decades ago. Here Grojsman returns with Parisienne to marry Paris to berries. The violet-rose of the old scent becomes dominated by the sweet fruits, and the result is a fragrance most teenagers will like. It is an inoffensive fruity-floral, not unlike many in the market. A safe perfume, pleasant but devoided of originality.. I prefer the uniqueness of Paris, but my daughter will delight in Parisienne.

    Rive Gauche is my everyday fragrance for the warmer seasons of the year. I can't think of a single circumstance for which it would not be suitable. Unfortunately this gem has been reformulated. I was quite upset because of this, until I found The Fragrance Shop,whose version of RG is very true to the original formulation. I also bought the dry oil, which is delightful. From now on all my Rive Gauche will come from The Fragrance Shop.

    This is one of my favourite perfumes and the oil is identical. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesnt seem to last very long whereas all my other oils lasts the entire day.
