Paris by Yves Saint Laurent is one of my favorites, but it can be kind of big and bombastic. I don’t like invading other people’s space. I love the way this scent in the oil form (as opposed to alcohol) hangs close to your body. It’s lovely and romantic and floral, but more of a secret for the people very close to me rather than a flashing neon light.

I do agree that the opening of this oil scent is not exactly like the original, being more soapy or musky or something, but after 15-30 minutes it’s great.

At first it's quite strong and soapy, not totally like the original. But, within 20 mins it mellow to a perfect replication but better because it is more warm. The original is more sharp, less smooth. I wore it yesterday and got a glowing compliment. I love The Fragrance Shop!! :D

Roses and violets...a spring song. A feminine, lively and lovely fragrance. And certainly a classic.

This is a beautiful floral and girly fragrance. If you love all things pink and flowery, you will love this. It smells just like YSL Paris. Also, customer service is amazing here. I am a repeat customer on many fragrances now for ten years.
