Orange Blossom Essential

I fell in love as a teenager with a New Orleans perfume combining orange blossom and orange peel oils. When I hunted down orange blossom essential oil, and combined it with orange peel oil I had at hand, I put the combination into a jar to scent the room, and lo! the smell greets me as I enter. It's a bit pricey, but believe you me, it's rich and sensual. If wear it, I smell it often for a thrill.

I was expecting sweet orange blooms smell, that make your head spin... No, nothing like that.

The bottle comes in a dropper-type. I loathed it. The scent itself is pretty good. But I spilled some on myself the first time I used it and I had to transfer it into another bottle. I wouldn't buy it again unless it came in the regular bottle that all of The Fragrance Shop's other perfumes came in.

I ordered the dry oil spray because I have very dry skin and I love the orange blossom scent. I have gotten several compliments since I started wearing it and it does last all day and makes my skin very soft and not at all oily.

While I've enjoyed several of the Fragrance Shop's scents, this one is not a winner for me. For some reason, it smelled musty, as well as citrusy. Smelling it, I keep picturing orange blossoms that have been kept in an attic with wet books. Maybe this is just an anomaly, I don't know. Oh dear!
