    smoky rose oud

    When I put this on I was like "damn, this is a proper rose oud". Exactly what I was expecting. The problem for me is that the rose fades after 1 or 2 hours and it gets quite smoky after. After a few more hours it mellows out a little and you get a sorta leathery drydown. Good sillage and longevity. I've never smelled the original but I think it must be pretty close. I do find myself craving it after a while but you gotta power through the smoke.
