Magie Noire type for women

It's a gift for my mother. The fragrance changes when different people wear it at night. But she likes the original formula more than this one.

This is a lasting fragrance, and has its own merit. But it smells nothing like Magie Noire, either in the vial or on my skin. There is one note that has a hint of the same fragrance but it is overwhelmed by all the other notes and dissipates almost as soon as it is warmed by skin. I was really hoping to find a credible dupe but this is not one.

I am impressed on the body oil for the Lancome Magie Noire. The oil is spot on and will make you happy. Don't hesitate to order and sample it and be delighted. Excellent customer service is a plus!!!!!

We noticed that the name brand fragrance had changed formulation several years ago and lamented the change. We came across this product in a web search to purchase another bottle of the name brand. We ordered several samples and was very pleased. The fragrance shop product is great, perhaps better than the original name brand!

All those notes look like it would be "too much," but it's so nicely grounded that it really works. Earthy, distinctive and soothing, this is one of my all-time favorites.

Note: I cannot compare this to the original,as I've never smelled it.
