Ma Griffe type for women

I am well familiar with this fragrance from its original formulation. The version I received did not resemble the original scent at all and instead, smelled like something gone sour from age and poor storage. It was powdery and aldehydic and totally broken up.

I absolutely love The Fragrance Shop version of Ma Griffe, in perfume oil. It is a subtle yet refreshing fragrance that is not overpowering!!

This is a classic chypre, very green, a bit floral, with plenty of oakmoss. It's a perfume with depth, and very well blended notes. Sophisticated and alluring, although it was once upon a time created for the young girls who loved Ms Carven's dress designs in cheerful green and white stripes, today it is more suitable for a discriminating professional woman. This fragrance is chic.
