Too strong, overpowering. Artificial.

Sadly it doesn't smell at all like the original Lauren

I loved Lauren and wore it for many years. I have tried several dupes over the years but none of them came close......so I was excited to try this one as well. I applied a bit and initially was very disappointed......it smelled far too "green" is the word that comes to mind.....and I thought it would be impossible to find a dupe that came close to the original. However, 30 minutes later, the top notes I disliked mellowed and suddenly it smelled exactly like the Lauren I know and love. So for those trying it out, be patient and apply in advance so give it time to develop into the amazing scent you remember. I am truly impressed!
