Jo Malone Poppy & Barley type for men and women

I haven't smelled the original, but I've heard good things about this site's versions of Jo Malone's scents and Poppy and Barley sounds like it'd tick all of my boxes. After reading the review that said it doesn't necessarily stick around a long time, I ordered the dry body oil to try it out and it's perfect! It lasts a long time on me (I sprayed some on my shirt one afternoon and the next day it still lingered a bit), and smells gorgeous. Quickly become one of my everyday favorites, and I'm looking forward to ordering more Jo Malone types.

The store owner recommended this one several months ago. I was hesitant to try something so new since I hadn't smelled the original. I eventually decided to buy it without testing first. It was the right decisions. This fragrance is light and wonderful. While I can't quite detect the barley, the poppy is light and balanced well against the other notes. I really like this one. I prefer light scents and the body spray is my favorite way to experience The Fragrance Shop's high quality oils. The body spray scents I previously purchased tend to last well over 6 hours on a typical day. However, this particular scent must be very light. I found myself reapplying after just 2 or 3 hours. If you tend to prefer the lighter body sprays like me, I recommend choosing the full strength fragrance oil for this one.
