Chinatown type for men and women

I've been a longtime wearer of Bond No. 9's Chinatown, a complex and unusual modern floral Oriental with chypre leanings featuring strong and sweet peach blossom and gardenia note over what smells much like freshly lacquered wood. That's a simplistic description of a complicated scent. TFS has recreated Chinatown in their perfume oil and it is very nearly spot on, with a slightly more present cardamom note in the front. Although I own the Bond, I wanted something small and portable for travel, and since Bond doesn't make parfum versions I sprang for a sample of TFS and was not only not disappointed, I was thrilled. TFS Chinatown is analogous to having Bond Chinatown in pure parfum; it smells far more luxurious than the price would indicate and I immediately ordered a bottle of it plus the lovely dry oil spray.

TFS does a remarkable job in general with their Bond clones; I have yet to find one that is not within a breath of the original. Unlike other "dupes," TFS oils develop the way original parfums do, through the perfume pyramid. As with the Bond version, the peach is immediate, sweet, and unctuous, cut only lightly with bergamot, before the floral centerpiece blooms with a generous tuberose note over the varnished woods of the base. Using one drop over the dry oil spray surrounds you with scent all day.

Highly recommended to both fans of the original and those who are simply looking for a gardenia/tuberose with a twist.

A dead ringer for Bond No 9's ChinaTown. Love it. Its sweet, woody, incensy, spicy with a touch of fruit. Perfect.

I don't know what is it about this scent, I bought it on a whim and I can't get enough of it. I keep on smelling my wrist lol. It has a very spicy, incense like scent with slightly sweet after tones. definitely screams Chinatown and I love it.

What is this? It starts floral...peach blossom, orange blossom, gardenia, and then you smell something fruity, and then woods and spices, and the sweetness of vainilla, and then from its mysterious heart starts rising perhaps a note of incense. You put Chinatown in the category of orientals, floral oriental to be exact, Luca Turin considers it a gourmand chypre. I only know that my nose is not going to unveil its mystery, but of something I am certain: it is a masterpiece.

This is a beautiful and unique scent, usually i dislike flowery smell; but i really liked the combination of the peach flower and the herbal scent. they are very wonderful and sexy, you're bound to be in a good mood once you smell this.
