Black Silk

I've been using black silk for many years. Its may favorite and I get many compliments. My last order does not smell the same. Please go back to the original formula.

Black Silk isn’t a smooth, pleasant-smelling oil. In fact, it’s quite harsh; the clove, chocolate, and patchouli together seem bitter, and don’t blend well. I got it because I wanted a good *clove* scent, and it might be good for aromatherapy (very grounding), but it isn’t wearable. It smells good at first, but as it dries down, it makes me want to choke. I very much prefer Shi Shi as a clove fragrance, which blends clove and Bay Rum together, and smells quite pleasant. But only 1 star for Black Silk.

This smells like a warm caramel-y liqueur. With a bit of spiciness.

Like most scents, this is probably going to smell great on someone else, but... It was way too "sweet" for me. For some reason, I thought it would be smokier. Once again, not bad, just not for me.
