Never tried Ambergris before but ummm, this stuff is amazing. Bought some new Patchouli (Kasmir) which is very dark and earthy smelling. Decided to see what would happen if I added just a smidge of Ambergris.
It was magic. That dark and earthy scent became a sumptuous mossy forest with hints of sweet grasses.
Have since been adding just a very tiny touch of Ambergris to other scents I like and it has improved every single one into smoother, richer and more pleasing aromas. Will have to keep this one always on hand.

For years, I was able to get Ambergris in its essential oil form and wear it. I love it's subtle yet haunting scent. Then, the store I bought it from went out of business. I haven't been able to find it until now.

I love it! I don't just dab it on my wrist or neck; I put a few drops of it in the palms of my hands, rub them together and then run both hands through my hair. I find the scent distributes and haunts better that way.

I use this even when not going out just love to smell it. The best!

I purchased a fragrance 5-pack and each oil was an uncanny match to the original - how does Fragrance Shop do it? All of the oils were fabulous, but my favorite is the luscious Ambergris - such a rich, gorgeous scent!
