I left my first review for this magnificent fragrance on Aug 17, 2011. At the time, I'd already been wearing it for years.

And here I am again, all these years later, still very enthusiastically endorsing this most perfect of fragrances. I love this scent and use it any time I elect to use a fragrance.

I think the simplest and most honest review I could possibly leave is the reality of my continuing devotion to this extraordinary scent. Through the seasons of my life - PTA mom/Costco shopper, classroom teacher, mid-life and onward through menopause, when my chickies flew the coop, and now, into the peaceful serenity of my 60's - through all those years, all the different versions of "me", I wore this scent.

Occasionally I ventured away from this incredible scent. I went off over here or over there. I wore other scents. But I never, ever liked them. My jaunts away from the "soft green floral and amber notes" which "make up this white musk," were always short-lived. I don't even like using those fragrances in my undies drawer. I just don't like them.

So here I am, back again, to say that I love this truly unforgettable and so-distinctive scent.

I usually buy vintage musk from eBay and they smell amazing.

This African Green Musk is the most beautiful modern day musk.

It is very clean and long lasting. I love it!

Green and fresh top notes are lovely - and the musk starts out just warm - like clean showered skin. About an hour in I get a little bit of animalic tones kicking in that I don't love in a day-time scent. This is sort of a stealth night scent - starts out deceptively clean and then the bad girl comes out...

So glad I tried this, it's heavenly! Very clean and invigorating, but feminine and sensual at the same time. I seriously LOVE this fragrance and plan to reorder.

I've worn this frangrance for at least eight years. It remains at the very top of the list of fragrances for which I feel an affinity. Though I try other scents, I always go back to this one and have gotten to the point of wearing it almost to the exclusion of all else. It goes to work with me, out with friends, and on dates. Being an oil, it lasts a very long time but is not overly assertive, as is true of the vast majority of chemical perfume scents. I love this my Oil of African Green Musk and recommend it with enthusiasm.
