Woo-Hoo! Finally!

I bought the shower gel, the spritz and the perfume. It does remind to Rive Gauche, but it does not have that soft enveloping fragrance, it's rather stark. If you use very little, it disappears completely in a couple of hours; if a little more, it becomes overwhelming. The original fragrance becomes a cocoon that gets softly onto your clothes, this is not it.

questa soluzione per un profumo ormai introvabile mi sembra eccellente.
Grazie

Rive Gauche is my everyday fragrance for the warmer seasons of the year. I can't think of a single circumstance for which it would not be suitable. Unfortunately this gem has been reformulated. I was quite upset because of this, until I found The Fragrance Shop, whose version of RG is very true to the original formulation. I also bought the dry oil, which is delightful. From now on all my Rive Gauche will come from The Fragrance Shop.

Rive Gauche is one of those suitable for all occasions scents and The Fragrance Shop's version is wonderful. I like to layer it with the dry oil, the body spritz, and finally topped by the oil. I usually wear this scent during the warm weather months, but it is equally lovely when the temps drop.
