Peppermint

I have been on the hunt for a peppermint fragrance for the longest time. I didn't want peppermint and vanilla, peppermint and lavender or spearmint/peppermint. I wanted straight peppermint. When I found this site and read the reviews, I was more than excited to try this fragrance. I bought it almost immediately. The first time I used it, I was pretty impressed. The peppermint was strong and bracing...exactly what I had been looking for all this time. But the fragrance "morphed" into something completely different as the day progressed. I was somewhat puzzled by that but decided to try it again. Well, subsequent uses have only diminished my view of this fragrance. It has absolutely NO staying power and within 10 minutes, I can't even smell it on myself (and this is in addition to using mint body wash and lotion!). I wish I could return it because I am really disappointed. Just goes to show that reviews ain't what they're cracked up to be.

Peppermint oil is lovely with its properties that stimulate a feeling of energy and settles into a "muted" candy cane fragrance.

I use this frequently. Provides such a clean, crisp edge to my cleaners and mop water on cleaning day. My entire home maintains lingering aspects for days. Visitors do not recognize it as peppermint - just "clean smelling".
Also - as a burn nurse, I frequently find myself surrounded with unpleasant odors. A drop on my mask cuts through most anything and makes my work a lot more tolerable.
