Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt type for men and women

I had heard about this scent on line. Some women where comparing fragrances and it sounded like an awesome combination of notes. So I thought I'd give it a try and got a sample and to my surprise I was smitten with the scent, and wow I had to find a place where it was a little more affordable. I found it here on the Fragrance Shop. Thanks for a wonderful fragrance.

Lovely fragrance. Much better longevity than the OG.

I have smelt and tried a number of dupes for Jo Malone's WS&SS. The Scented from youtube recommended TFS and she's right, this is the best version out there of WS&SS. It smells fresh (more fresh than the OG), it's slightly sweeter (like the opening of the OG). Many perfume oils can't get the fresh part right. The dry down smells muskier, fresher, and sweeter than the OG. TBH I think this smells better than the OG period! the OG turns sour on my skin sometimes but this doesn't. Now longevity wise I was a little disappointed. Although it lasts longer than the OG, as an oil I thought it would be more potent. It lasts about 4 hours on my skin before it just becomes a skin scent. I'm only putting on a few drops on each wrist. I'm sure if I put on more, it would last longer. It's meant to be a very light scent anyways so they duped the style of the fragrance. I've tried oilperfumery and oakcha, dossier (smells great but doesn't last), jenny glow, and TFS' impression is by far THE BEST so don't waste your money like me and just get this. (I've also tried TFS' aventus for him and it is amazing).

I had heard from this was the best version of WS&SS and it’s true! Other well known inspirations are slightly sweeter or slightly different in some way. They’re certainly pleasant but this inspiration precisely captures the earthy herbal woodiness that we all love about Jo Malone, it smells exactly like WS&SS from beginning to end. I’m a forever fan of The Fragrance Shop!

I have not smelled the actual brand but this smells nice, kind of spa-like. Definitely can be unisex. Sample gift was nice touch. Thank you TFS.
