Deneuve type for women

TFS version of Deneuve is a lovely scent, close to the original. Catherine Deneuve stated it was discontinued because 1 ingredient was no longer available. This is what is probably missing from the TFS version. Something in the basenote is off- has the scent of baby lotion instead of the rich notes in Deneuve. But still a nice fragrance that I will wear.

Opening this container was like unleashing a wonderful memory. Thank you. Really.

TFS, you are so close to a perfect dupe! But something about it is just a tad off -- it leaves a "fishy" note on dry down. Maybe it's the civet? This lacks the sparkle and depth of the original. Deneuve herself said she could never bring this one back because one of the key ingredients is no longer available. But keep trying, TFS! You guys are the best!

The package arrived on time, and I was impressed with the overall care put into the product. The oils are of very high quality, and are long-lasting. However, I didn't like what seems to be an overpowering under-note. A very base smell--maybe it's just on me, but I smell on my clothing as well. So it's not a fact of "turning." Cant quite identify it, but it interferes with the overall lightness and beauty of the upper notes.
