Chanel Bleu type for men

I have to agree with Rob that this is a very good recreation of Bleu De Chanel. It smells as close as an oil based fragrance can to its alcohol based original.

This really is a great scent if you want to smell nice without being too overpowering. Good sillage and at least on me the longevity is at least 6 hours.

It's funny how body chemistry can make such a difference. As soon as I apply the oil I can smell what to my nose is jasmine floating over the top of everything. As things dry down it settles in with the rest of the components and becomes a very well blended scent that has gotten me compliments.

Bought the 2145 spray to keep a reasonable yet fresh fragrance, without being overwhelming. I work in the service industry so when assisting/serving guests, having an over-bearing fragrance is a poor impression. The subtle hint of 2145 makes a positive impression to the folks around me without being a "wavy lined of stench" cartoon character!

I think it's lacking that crisp fresh smell that Bleu de Chanel holds. It lacks Jasmine as we'll. I have the actual cologne on my boyfriends right arm and The Fragrance Shops 2144 version on his left arm. His right arm has that sexy fresh crisp smell and his left arm is not so hot.

I can't use the actual cologne anymore, once you put this on, you can smell the alcohol. Its better, and I get alot of compliments from women about it. Love Bleu
