I used to save all my pennies to buy this wonderful purfume in my very early 20s, but of course for what reason I can't fathom the formulation changed and was never as good. I'm so glad I found TFS as I know I can wear this beautiful bouquet of white flowers again. I'm now 56 and just as addicted to purfume as I ever was, so now I can trial so many different oils. I'm in heaven.

I love this fragrance and am glad to have bath and body products available The scent is lasting more than expected even just using spritz alone. I actually put bottle of spritz in hotel fridge when I needed a pampering cool down.

I have never smelled the original, therefore this is a review of TFS oil. I love white linen, wrinkles and all. So I was expecting to like this fragrance very much. That sense of something pure and crisp, a casual chic, a nonchalant elegance. That sense I get from Chanel Cristalle, and even from Balmain Ivoire, two fragrances vaguely related to Lauder's. White Linen is fresh and pleasant, but perhaps its flowers are too ripe for an impression of whitenes or a feeling of crispiness. I know this is a classic perfume, loved by many for many years, and smelling it I can well understand why. But in my mind it does not convey the sheer delight of my white linen jacket, my immaculate tablecloth, my crisp summer bedding. This perfume is not polyester, but neither it is linen. Too unwrinkled, perhaps?
