Superior Egyptian Musk

This formulation needs a new name. It is not musky at all nor are the vetiver and patchouli notes very evident. The only notes that come through are powdery and slightly floral..

Ok. this one is sort of a head scratcher for me. It went from Love, to didn't really like to like and maybe love. lol I love the original Egyptian musk. I just wanted something with a little more oophm. I've tried and own the 24k Egyptian musk and the vanilla can at times be too cloying. What I think I struggled with on this one was the patchouli notes. It takes a Long long time to settle down on my skin- at least in the winter when I tried this. This lasted well past 12-15 hours on my skin. The last couple of hours I'm not sure if I enjoyed the wafting notes. (It was a touch animalic) Others complimented but it was a departure from the clean musks I usually wear. I kinda felt like I might need a shower. Anyway, this one is very interesting and will depend a lot on your skin chemistry, weather and other factors I think. Definitely give it a try if you are looking for a long wearing Musk.

I like this musk because it is different, not just a clean musk and not too animalic. I think it strikes the right balance. The patchouli is there but subtle and not sharp on my skin. My only complaint is that I wish it was a bit stronger, I like to smell the fragrance on myself without having to put my wrist to my nose. But otherwise it is great! Maybe if I used the dry body oil spray along with the oil?

The best thing going, I have been searching for the perfect egyptian musk for years. This is different than the regular Egyptian Musk smell im used to but its actually better (Superior). I think my seach is over and this is it, im tired of being let down... this is the BEST!!!
