New Haarlem type is an unconventional and distinctive fragrance. Coffee greets you in the opening of the scent with a creamy vanilla base. It is classified as an oriental/woody fragrance but could as pass as a gourmand one as well.
Fragrance Notes unfold over time, with the immediate impression of the top note leading to the deeper middle notes, and the base notes gradually appearing as the final stage.
· Top Notes: Lavender, Bergamot
· Middle Notes: Coffee
· Base Notes: Vanilla, Cedarwood, Patchouli

OMG!! This oil is SPOT ON Bond #9's New Haarlem! The notes and the dry down are exactly the notes used in the original fragrance. I have the ORIGINAL New Haarlem and I SWEAR I can't tell the difference!!! This is totally worth stocking up on and I will NEVER buy the original New Haarlem again!!

This is an oil that needs to develop: don't judge it at first sniff. New Haarlem is a paradoxical fragrance, fresh clean lavender with warm cofee, Herbs together with woody and somewhat gourmand notes. Fit for both sexes. I have never smelled the original, and thus can't compare. The lavender is cool and fresh, the vanilla sweet and warm. And everything somehow works, and works very well: amazing.

I have the original and this version. The initial smell is very similar and good, but the dry down on my skin is much more woody as compared to the original.

I can't say enough good things about this oil. New Haarlem is one of my favorite scents but the original is very expensive. This oil smells exactly the same and also lasts much longer. I enjoy wearing this oil because it stays with you the entire day. If you love New Haarlem you will love this oil!

I have several of the original fragrance products and I will never buy another because The Fragrance Shop version is better.
This dark, unsual cologne isn't for everyone but for those fond of complex, moody aromas, this oil version is the perfect delivery system for this cologne's unique essential elements.
