I've been using L'Air du Temps as my warmer season fragrance for oh, so many years. Everyone loves it and comments. I searched for a less expensive vendor and luckily found The Fragrance Shop. I tried small sizes of the Body Oil, Shower Gel and Oil as I wasn't certain about using a copied product. Love them. The layering helps this soft scent linger much longer. I'm sold on this company, service and wonderful scent.

I am an addict of TFS's oils. I have bought many of them, and usually they are spot on, or better. This is not the case with L'Air du Temps. True, this fragrance has suffered many reformulations, and in recent times it has become less than a shadow of itself. I don't know on which formulation TFS based its type, but I am basing my review on my vintage L'Air du Temps. To start with the TFS type has a heavy oily smell which effaces the intense but airy opening of the original. As the aroma evolves the type gets nearer to its model, but never reaches its airy, translucent quality, which was a large reason of the enchantment of this fragrance. The same problem is to be found in the Spritz and the Dry Body Oil. Perhaps TFS might reconsider this type and reach a more faithful formulation; otherwise this is a classic that is lost.
