Remember the original from the early 1970's, a very lush and heady gardenia scent. Have one from eBay and yours is just about the same...All the new ones plus the re-launches have nothing to do with the scent memories yours evokes. Am very happy. My husband actually wanted to know what it was that smelled so divine!
Many Thanks!!

I use to love Jungle Gardenia by Tuvache' - I see that it is a replica of Coty's but this is as close as possible (as I recall) to the Tuvache' scent....love it! A beautiful fragrance!

Jungle Gardenia by Touvaché? By Coty? By Evyan? I never smelled any of them. This is a review of TFS's oil, and I don't have much to say: it is gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous.
This is not a perfume to wear for lunch, not even for dinner (unless it is a very intimate one). Don't use it if you are going to the movies or the theatre: being far from demure, its beauty calls for a lover's discretion. This is a fragrance for listening to Ravel's Bolero under the summer moonlight. I never believed in love at first sight, but with Jungle Gardenia I now believe in passion at first sniff. This is a fragrance for romance.

I have a great deal of good memories associated with this perfume. In regard to the first review posted by Nancy of Washington - it does clearly state on the Fragrance Shop website that this is a replication of Coty's version of Jungle Gardenia, not Tuvache. I particularly loved the Tuvache original, and when Coty bought the rights to the formula in the late 80's they unfortunately changed the formula with ghastly results. For some reason the FS version smells much better than Coty's and is remarkably more similar to the Tuvache original, although the goal seems to have been to replicate Coty. Will I continue to buy vintage bottles of Tuvache Jungle Gardenia? Well, probably, but I really like this replication!

I just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with your Designer Fragrance Oil of Jungle Gardenia-type. I used to wear Tuvache Jungle Gardenia when I was a teenager and it brings back memories whenever I have it on. I have tried various duplicates, but nothing pleased me 100%. In fact, nothing was close until I ordered from you. Thank you for duplicating so faithfully this wonderful scent.
